while my posting hasn't been consistant, at least my riding has...

I am a little behind the planning curve due to the two weeks with my wife travelling, but I can make it up a bit and get back inline this week (and by hitting my 300 points planned today (ON THE TRAINER!)

Also will do the next 2-3 weeks of planning tonight. That should be fun... I really need to write a tool to do it more automated...

Really looking forward to CX season...

Consistency...

Yes, I lack it. In my personal life and as an athlete.

I preach it as a coach, and consider it to be the one defining needs of most clients to start reaching their goals.

And so from now on, I plan to take a little of my own medicine...

I have been using the TrainingManager (tm'd yet AC?) with my clients for some time now, but it was only recently that I started toying with it for myself and started plugging in my own data.

I also went through and ran the past ~6 years of SRM data into it...

And what I found out about myself was dramatic.

I then created the plot above to illustrate the point to myself. In it, the x-axis is the day from 1/1 through 12/31 for a year, the y-axis is hour of training. Each color is a different year. It becomes rather obvious that I have a consistancy problem. (as a side note I did loose about 3 months of data to a HDD crash two seasons ago in the april-july range - but you still get the point).

And so, the point?

A pledge to myself (and to those 1-2 individuals reading this) to be consistant.

Robert told me a long time ago that it takes 21 days to create a habit. So, for the next 21 days, no time off.
